Al Schrand Mulch Division Sales Manager
Al Schrand as Mulch Division Sales Manager for Applegate Holdings has continued to lead customer satisfaction to new heights. Al Schrand has recently joined Applegate and by introducing new and revitalizing old Applegate products and additives has propelled Applegate Mulch into the limelight for hydromulchers. Applegate’s new line of Wood Mulch earning excellent reviews and have been shaking up the industry.
A brief overview of Mr. Schrand shows that he has had a varied and exciting career in the turf industry for over 20 years. Prior to joining Applegate, Mr. Schrand held the position of Eastern U.S. Sales Manager for Canfor. Before Canfor, he was Finn Corporation’s National Product and Turf Specialist. Al is a member of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) and a Qualified Stormwater Management Inspector for the Department of Environmental Protection for the State of Florida. In August, Al was appointed to Director of the International Association of HydroSeeding Professionals (IAHP) through 2009.
